All-District 8th-Grade Jazz Orchestra
About
The Berkley High School Sponsored All-District 8th-Grade Jazz Orchestra is an extension of the middle school band program.
Mission
To enhance the music education of current 8th-grade Band Students in the Berkley Community School District.
Vision
To introduce students to jazz music and the Berkley High School Band program, regardless of their musical ability and the instrument they play.
Participation
To participate, students must currently be in the 8th-grade band at their home school. Participating students need to attend all rehearsals and the Concert. Students are allowed one excused absence. Participation Fee
There is a $30 Participation fee to cover the cost of a t-shirt, music, and pizza party. A Berkley Instrumental Booster will be available to collect payment at the beginning or end of each rehearsal.
