8th Grade Middle School Band Night

Sept. 3, 2026

Save the date: Thursday, September 3 — 8th Grade Middle School Band Night!

We’re making this year extra special — this event is dedicated entirely to our 8th-grade band students! Register now to secure your spot and guarantee the correct T‑shirt size. Registering also connects you with Mr. Thomann at the high school, so you’ll receive summer updates and can ask questions as they come up.

Even if your plans change or you can’t attend, please register so we can reserve a T‑shirt for you and plan enough food in case you’re able to join.

Below this message, you will find the registration form. Below the registration form, you will find the itinerary and maps.

We can’t wait to celebrate our rising high school musicians — see you there!

I hope everyone has a great time. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Thomann or your middle school band director.

What to Wear for Middle School Band Night T-Shirt

What to Wear/Middle School Band Night T-Shirt

Every 7/8th Grade Band student will receive a Marching Band t-shirt that looks like the High School Marching Band Uniform. Please plan on wearing a long-sleeved shirt, e.g., a thermal shirt or undershirt, so you can change to wear the t-shirt to the marching band rehearsal and football game.

You may also wear your Middle School Marching Band T-shirt over a sweater/hoodie.

If weather allows, i.e., it is not raining or freezing. Students will take their jackets off during the pre-game performance (15 min.) so we can see everyone wearing their marching band t-shirts. Please plan accordingly.

I encourage students to wear pants to this event, but there is no strict dress code regarding the style or color.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. It may be cold, and there is always the possibility of rain.

No sandals, flip-flops, etc., please wear an athletic type shoe.

Student Drop Off Location @ 4:45 pm

Parking is limited and Catalpa is narrow so please consider leaving early so we can start on time.
