An affiliate of the Music for All National Festival, presented by Yamaha

Music for All is proud to partner with the Eastern Michigan University Bands to present the 2026 Great Lakes Concert Band Festival as one of Music for All’s Affiliate Regional Music Festivals. Music for All is a national organization that supports music programs nationwide through education and performance opportunities. Music for All’s mission is to create, provide, and expand positively life-changing experiences through music for all students. Its vision is to be a catalyst to ensure that every child across America has access and opportunity to participate in active music making in his or her scholastic environment.

One of Music for All’s programs in support of that mission is the Music for All National Festival, a non-competitive performance and learning opportunity for outstanding high school and middle school concert bands, chamber ensembles, orchestras, choirs, and percussion ensembles from across America. Music for All’s Affiliate Regional Music Festival program is part of its ongoing support of the essential “core” of every band program: the concert band.

TENTATIVE ITINERARY- CONCERT BAND/WIND SYMPHONY

Attend class periods 1-4 and school lunch.

12:40 pm | Normal School Lunch

1:25 pm | Meet in band room, attendance, load equipment, change into concert attire.

1:30 pm | Load the bus and take attendance.

1:40 pm | Depart Berkley High School

2:45 pm | Arrive at Lake Orion High School

4:00 pm | BHS Concert Band Stage Performance

5:30 pm | BHS Symphonic Band Stage Performance

6:00 pm | Concert Band Meal

6:45 pm | Symphonic Band Meal

8:00 pm | Transition equipment to truck and buses.

8:30 pm | Depart EMU and transition to Berkley H.S.

9:30 pm | Arrive at Berkley H.S. and unload equipment/Dismissal.
