Hello Bears!

Arts Beats & Eats is right around the corner (August 30-Sept. 2).  This is a great, easy way to raise funds for the Berkley Marching Band program, while having fun with other Bear parents from football & cheer along with Steeler parents.  During Arts Beats & Eats in downtown Royal Oak, volunteers will assist in mixing alcoholic drinks / tending bar.  This is primarily an adult only volunteer opportunity as alcohol will be served. The organizers are allowing high schoolers to assist with the distribution of pop and water. Berkley Bear volunteers will have a dedicated beverage tent with assigned cashiers employed by the organizers.  We receive cash and credit card tips for our work. We have been assigned to the Main Stage beverage tent, this is a huge compliment and a huge responsibility for our program. Shifts are 4 hours in length, but it is high-paced and time flies when you are having fun!  

Again, this year, we will be working with other Berkley programs to ensure that all volunteer positions are filled.  When you sign up, please indicate that you are volunteering for the Berkley Marching Band.  For example: Danielle Moody (Berkley Marching Band).  This will ensure funds are allocated appropriately.
