7 Oct. | 7/8th=Grade Middle School Night and Senior Acknowledgement Football GameFor this game, the pre-game will look a little different. To accommodate the inclusion of our 7th and 8th-grade band students, we will perform all of the music that we play for pre-game, i.e., Power under the stands, drum entrance on the field, Fight Song, and Start Spangled Banner, but we will be standing in the tunnel the whole time. Senior Night The marching band will perform a snippet of the Senior Song Don't Go Breakin' My Heart, a nod back to their 9th-grade at the beginning of their halftime performance. Then the marching band will perform the 2022 show Still Standing. After their halftime show, we will announce the seniors and their families. Students may have up to two family escorts. Each senior will receive a gift from the Berkley Instrumental Boosters and have their name announced to the audience along with their family escort/s. The senior marching band family members should make their way to the track near the 50-yard line at the beginning of halftime.
The announcer will introduce each senior and their designated family members. At that point, the student will step forward, and their family will present them with a gift from the Band program (this is a good photo opportunity as well). Please take the time to fill out this form, and submit it as soon as possible (if you have not filled it out).
